Firstborn Cesarean Sections!

Was one, had one.

Being a member of The Zipper Club kinda sucks, but you get over it. (Two more weeks of mat leave, too! I'm just sayin'..)

((skitters in))
((finds the darkest, shadowiest corner to curl up in))...

grmbl.....

Oi. Anyone here watch (and remember) the fifth season of Buffy? After seeing the series about a zillion and two times, there is still one episode that I just do not understand: "Into the Woods". Anyone remember that one?

((patiently lurks))

I was a natural born. Guess I'm gonna have to hang 'round the outside of the cool people group and be the nerd that thinks the awesome will somehow rub off. Hehehe

Oh and FYI: People suck. Just my experience from the day.

[EDIT1: Lame joke about how/why babyJ's being stubborn.]

[EDIT2: Summary -- Richard Ing's "Spiritual Warfare" is an amazingly bad/horrific book -- I'm horrified and amazed that there are books and people out there that think faith other than the exact one they follow is wrong, a source of evil, and basically must-be-destroyed. Must be from my very Asian mindset towards relgion.]
[ /EDIT ]

*hugs HK and brings comforting polished can-o-dew, and assorted goodies*

Roxy: Ugh...sorry to hear that. Yeah, some hooomans are of teh suck.

I remember Into the Woods... what's puzzling you specifically

HUGS Rosie well hopefully I can avoid it and sadly I do not get any more maternity leave no matter what ( barring catastrophic hospitalization for more than 2 months) so it's one of the reasons I am anxious to get him here. Longer he stays in less time I have with him.

On the truly nifty side which I was a bit distracted to mention before... The ultrasound tech finally got a good image of his face. He looks just like his daddy... I'm so squeee over it

3D sono rocks!

Izza schmooogie!

Some of those images look like sculpture, unfinished pieces of granite with the babies just waiting to be finished and released from the rock. (kinda creepy too..)

I know in NYS you get 6 weeks mat leave, 8 if you have a cesarean. Is this not the same where you are? If not, that sucks. Your body has to adjust to a non-pregnant state like everybody else, plus you're recovering from major abdominal surgery. What, the clock starts running the moment you go out and if you end up out of time two weeks after you deliver it's your lookout? That's complete cack!

Anybody tries to put you in a room with a large and violent child before you have a chance to heal you tell them I said to go fuck themselves. All you need is one good kick to the suture line and you've got a very unpleasant situation and possible repair job.

Don't MAKE Mamma Rosie come 'splain it to them.

Poopies.

So: Into The Woods. It's been a while, but if you refresh me on the plotline I might be able to kibbitz. (It's not the one with "Bored now" is it?!)

Barkeep! Um.. surprise me?

Pleez?

Well, you can hang out with me!

I remember Into the Woods. The one with the vamp-sucky brothel, right? Where Riley takes off?
