I thought it was the twangy dobro music when he comes out in his Browncoat costume. Very, VERY Firefly, that music. If you recorded it, go back and watch again, see if it doesn't ring a bell.

Oh, absolutely, spot on. I caught that to.

And, as for the story, I knew the tombstone they glanced at in the beginning of the show had to have some significance. I'm waiting to hear if that happened to be a prop from the Sunnydale cemetery, though it being a different network, I'm kinda guessing not.

Wonderful episode. I'll have to watch it again and again.

I also saw lots of Moreana on the commercials for "V". I'm glad they are highlighting her.

Now all we need is Alan, Jewel, Sean and Ron to do guest appearances on Castle or V to complete the goodness.

I don't know if this could be the hidden Firefly Easter egg on the Castle set, but in the scene when Castle enters the room as Mal with his gun drawn, is that a Darth Vader action figure on the shelf to the right of him? Wasn't that kept in the cabinet of Serenity during the series?
