In the spirit of Haken's remarks I was wondering what y'all :) do for a living?
To start things off, me :)
I'm a fairly inactive and lazy sci-fi writer (with, sadly, no sales) look at my website ( www.hobbes.8k.com) and is currently enrolled in University at the age of 23.
I was born in Eire (OK OK, Ireland, Eire just sounds better) and I now reside in downtown Toronto, Canada.

Uh, I'm a college student at Embry Riddle, Daytona Beach Campus. I major in Aeronautical Science, which for you ground pounders, means pilot training. I occasionally tinker with writing, which I have recieved some awards for. I grew up a military brat, but have never lived anywhere interesting. I like books, genre films, Macs, and Britney Spears' earlier works, before she sold out. (You know the stuff) I am an American, a feminist, an enviromentalist, and a developing indie rock fan, whose only complaint about my parents is that they picked out such a prosaic name for me. When I grow up, I want to harness the very power of creation and take over the world.

In April i'll offically be an Airman, uniform and all. Right now i clean hotel rooms for nothin', but that's not gonna last long.
I've had it with scrubbing nasty toilets someone else's behind was on. I really have.
EDIT to add: Yes, my job in the air force...I'm gonna fix planes. Cool huh?
