This isn’t a good sign: Sources confirm to me exclusively that Fox has decided to pull Dollhouse off the schedule during November sweeps. Joss Whedon’s ratings-challenged drama is expected to return in December and air back-to-back episodes on Friday night.
Bottom line: Barring a ratings miracle, Dollhouse will be shut down for good after it completes its current 13-episode order.
I guess we were waiting for this.

It's a real shame. This show has so much potential, and Eliza seems to really be committed to the show. Maybe Joss should switch to do some stupid reality show. That's what the idiot masses seem to want. Hey, how about a reality show based on a young boy who floats off in a home-made balloon?

Come on, guys, is anyone surprised by this?
I'm sure Joss and crew saw it coming and will build to a satisfying conclusion with the Season Two finale, which (unless they change their minds again), FOX had previously said they'd air.
26 episodes is a lot better than many other series do. Make the best of what you get, and look forward to new projects for the very, very talented cast (because, to be honest, I think that the sum of DOLLHOUSE is less than the quality of the parts).

The problem is the retarded Amerikan public. Too much fluoride and prozac in the water, too much mercury in their vaccines and teeth.
Intelligent shows go right over their head. Like calculus.
BAN CALCULUS! Which is probably why calculus class is not on TeeVee.
The job of TV is to cause lobotomies, apparently.

I've got to ditto Traveler's sentiment, but also agree with the sad sad fact that most people seem to like "reality" shows more than anything else these days ><;; I don't know why they're so successful, but they are
You think, if they'd sandwiched Dollhouse between two sweeps shows instead, that it might get watched because people don't feel like changing the channel in the interim? :P one would hope. Hell, it's how I found most of the shows I watch XD
