Because apparently, it's OK for YOU (and all conservatives) to spout invective, but then your feelings get hurt when someone returns the favor. Who are you, exactly, to be calling for civility? And why should we listen to anything you have to say, seeing as you appear to have the insight of a fruitfly on the topic?

When you guys start showing some respect - or at least not breath-taking hypocrisy- I'll feel like I can take you more seriously on the topic. As for now, I think Democrats and liberals in general need to start being MORE confrontational, not less. And we should have started about 10 years ago. Too bad libruls didn't show up at Bush speeches openly carrying weapons and threatening his life, eh? Maybe if we had started calling you guys knuckle-dragging Neandertals earlier, that smack upside the head would have dented your bad behavior. Because being nice and bipartisan- at least on the national scene- doesn't seem to have gotten anywhere.

Relax Signy. I never called for RWED civility, I just wrote about civility in general. Sorry if you felt coerced in any way to be civil. I will say that you same-brain Liberals are often friendly and civil to each other when you all agree on everything, and I'm often moved to wipe away a tear of jealous joy when I see it. Do you know if fruitflies are related to fireflies? Did you notice I tried your "underlining" technique? A little scary at first, but you're right, it really does enhance the point, and it feels oh so good.

Hey Signy, if you circle back this thread, take a good look at this. This fine, upstanding, honest person posted distorted and sarcastic remarks right at me. It hurts girl. My spirit is shaken.
