Finally watched all of Castle last night and caught next week's preview.

There is, indeed a moment where he jumps through a door in a coat that is of a brownish color and brandishing a pistol of some sort! He's wearing that same coat in other brief snippets also, so it's hard to tell if it is part of the Cap'n Mal outfit. But fun to see nonetheless!

Actually, I didn't notice this before and had to watch the same little clip three times over, but in the beginning of the promo when he's walking the crime scene with beckett, he's wearin the coat XD

River: here you go. They're a bit fuzzy, but it's the best I could do :\ hopefully one will be able to get better quality when the ep comes out I'll try makin em smaller, see if that does anything.

I swear Nathan and Joss are some of the best at rallying their fans behind them. This is just brilliant stuff from Nathan. It benefits everybody. He gets more viewers. We all get to squee. It's great!

I don't have screencaps, but I watched it in HD and ran through it on the DVR in slo-mo several times. He's definitely wearing the browncoat and Mal pants WITH the appropriate suspenders.

There's a closeup of his face where you can see the collar of the coat, and it's THE browncoat - nothing else is cut like that.

lol, my friend and I were talking about how awesome it would be if Beckett dressed up as a Companion to fuck with Castle's head XD since she seems to love doing that :P

I'd ask her if she uploaded her animated avi to the interwebs, but she's not online :\ then I'd ask her if she'd object to my posting the link :P its the clip of him bursting through the door guns blazing and she just applied it to her screen name yesterday. It rocks, in a word.
