Looking for Browncoats in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. We are gauging interest in a CSTS screening. If you think you might like to see the BDM on the big screen, please friend Facebook page Tidewater Serenity. Got 36 friends so far, need about 200 to make it work. Thx

I am updating this post with the new info. We will be showing Serenity and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog at the Naro, in Norfolk, VA, on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at noon to 3pm. Tickets are $8 and all profits go to charity. If you are on facebook, friend 'Tidewater Serenity' for more information. As the date nears, more will be posted there. Hope to see you there.

Hi,

I just wanted to stop by and let you know that there is a very good chance that your event registration will not be accepted with such an early date.

While the event window for 2010 events has not yet been announced, to enable you to plan ahead please note that the earliest that CSTS events are normally permitted is late May. The preferred commencement month is June. Cities wishing to hold a screening earlier than this will need to negotiate with the 2010 Global Team, and will miss out on many of the global benefits of CSTS. The Global Team (the 2010 team will commence in January) need time to set up the year's events, negotiate Serenity/Dr Horrible licensing, prepare promotion and gather sponsors for the Global Swag Packs (items provided to all events), and organise merchandise. This is why June is the preferred month for events to start, as it can take some time to achieve this.

While it is admirable that you are organising yourselves well in advance, I would recommend that you wait until the 2010 Global Team is ready to accept Registrations before you get too far into your plans.
