I, however, remain fully unconvinced that Serenity can look any better to me than it does now on my new 26" 720p LCD.
Funny, we both spent dough at a time of economic collapse. We are good consumers!

I'll be getting the Blu Ray as well.
Probably the only film from this past summer I'll buy.
I do find it odd that my favorite movie of the summer, and my most despised movie of the summer, were written by the same guys.

Yeah, that and the director they're working for.
And, to be fair to them, both scripts were hamstrung by the strike - one rushed out before it went into effect, the other after it ended.

Argh! You may think so, but really less dramatic. I know the PR guy.

Does your copy have deleted scenes? Does it have that stupid "Property of Paramount" thing on the bottom of the screen?

My copy has no extras, but no "Property of Paramount". It loops automatically. I believe it was intended for store displays.

Quote:Good. I got a bunch of screeners to keep over the years when I managed a video store, and always tossed 'em 'cause of that. Insanely distracting.

Does it work better on a home screen than it did in the movies, or just differently?
