Mornin all!!

ShinyGoodGuy,Kwicko.....I love Rodger Dean’s work. I have an art book of his around my house somewhere, along with 4 or 5 of Frazetta’s art books.

Ok, since you’ve mentioned girls / Frazetta…….here’s another BSG painting he did back in 1978.

NVG that would be cool to get your friend to do a Frazetta ink for you. Even better to have a Frazettaish style Ghostrider done. Frank Frazetta turned 80 last year so the guy ain’t doing much anymore. I don’t blame him….time to retire and enjoy the fruits of his wonderful art.

Kwicko……nice pics!!

Boris…..at first I thought that you were going to post that you got your name from Boris Karloff or Boris Vallejo ( another fantastic fantasy artist)

Ahhhh, women who kick butt.

Did I write that out loud?

lmao. take a look at RvB (they're on youtube) and see what you think XD I personally think she's a more psycho, artificially enhanced (she's got an AI unit) mean-hearted bitch--as Church, her ex-boyfriend, puts it. :P series is worth lookin' at

I just now "discovered" RvB, via a machinema podcast on How Stuff Works. Never heard of it before, but now I'm getting hooked on it!

"What are they talking about?"

Yup, I've got "The Flights of Icarus", which has a bunch of Dean's work in it. In middle school, I had the "Osibisa Woyaya" poster on my wall, along with a couple other Dean posters. Loved his stuff. Can't even tell you how many albums I bought and tried out just because he'd done the cover art. Same with Hipgnosis, who used to do the covers for Pink Floyd, UFO, Scorpions, Rush, and a host of others...

My user name comes from the Sci Fi cartoon Code Lyoko that was on Cartoon Network For a while. XANA is the evil AI computer, and the 888 was just kinda random.

Boris that is an awesome story.. I work with kids with disabilities. Would you mind if I shared that story with them? I am so impressed that you came up with such a fab coping mechanism all on your own. Way to go!!!

Airwolf was one of my many obsessions through the years, as was Kung Fu, Star Trek TOS, Dark Angel & the original BSG. I have more lines memorized from those shows than I should have memory for.
I won't even go into movies that are permanently in my organic hard drive.

I don't think it's a big mystery where I got my SN from. I was crushed . . . absolutely crushed when Wash died in the BDM and still think the movie would have been just as good . . . nay . . . better with him surviving 'til the end. But, alas, Joss had other plans. Mine is not to reason why, right?

Anyway, I went with R.I.P. Wash. RIPWASH. Or Ripper to my buddies. :o)
