Hi Rose,
Somehow I get the feeling were you ever to find yourself on a spaceship, you'd make a good crew member.

a few years after I started using this screen name, my aunt had a daughter. She named her Phoenix.
You know, someday she'd make a good browncoat.

Jewel's role in the series is what drew me into it, looking for it on the cable channels, finding a mini-marathon, and buying the DVDs so I could see the rest. Without her in the series I may not have ever seen it, and Serenity would have been the last I saw of the verse. I owe her all th is enjoyment.

Xie-xie, that's one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me

I plan on introducing Phoenix to Firefly once she's a little older. So far, she's followed me pretty closely on likes and dislikes, so I have a feeling she'll like it

Hey Sleepy,
Studied The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari once for a film class 100 years ago. My film teacher looked like Dustin Hoffman - I sh*t you not.
Very weird film.
Also studied the Potamkin, a Russian film from that era, which has a very familiar scene whereby a baby carriage rolls down a long flight of stairs while a battle ensues (it was used in The Untouchables with Kevin Costner).
Holy space monkeys sounds like we might have done the same course! I studied Battleship Potemkin too. That famous scene is the 'Odessa steps' scene. A classic by Sergie Eisenstein and our lecturer looked like Groucho Marx! Seriously! No bull!
Hey did you message me three times to wake me up?

DId you also study - Ivan the Terrible?

I know
it is funny isn't it. It's just one of those odd words that suits gothic horror I think

Good morning fellow browncoats!
ShinyGoodGuy…..glad to see that there are other folk onboard the good ship Serenity that are Frazetta fans as well.
Don’t know that many people will remember, or even know that Frank Frazetta painted the first three paintings for the original Battlestar Galactica series back in 1978. They could be found in that years TV Guide and even though they were in B/W the images were still impressive. Here’s a look
Also a pic of Apollo and Starbuck
Richard Hatch & Dirk Benedict
“Your coats are a brownish color…..”
I was a fan, but not a big fan, Z

Always loved Battlestar Gallactica. Loved the Cyclons, the lights on thier heads and their fighter ships. The cyclon fighter ships were so much cooler than the vipers! Great show!
Did you ever see the episode where Starbuck crash lands on a lifeless planet and finds an old cylon droid there too? Pure frikkin genius!
Great TV
Oh and great artwork ZZETTA13
