It has its moments. The storm in Nebraska that blows down your tent. The sparkplug wire shorting out in the rain. Then seeing the Sun set through the clouds, making bands of gold across the sky. The smiling faces of children that respond as you wave at them as their car passes you by.

Hey Sleepy,

Studied The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari once for a film class 100 years ago. My film teacher looked like Dustin Hoffman - I sh*t you not.

Very weird film.

Also studied the Potamkin, a Russian film from that era, which has a very familiar scene whereby a baby carriage rolls down a long flight of stairs while a battle ensues (it was used in The Untouchables with Kevin Costner).

Frank Frazzeta happens to be one of my fav artists of all time. His artwork is incredible, but he also did some work for the rock group Yes. Very Shiny indeed.
