Kiernan reports that Polanski secretly planned to remain in Europe until the baby was born. "Then maybe I could go back and find Sharon the way she used to be."

He was with some, friends, "sipping champagne, passing a marijuana cigarette around … when the phone rang" in his London flat. His wife and unborn child were just stabbed to death in a gory satanic ritual in California.

The grieving husband now rushed home and, "posed at the entrance of the death house for Life magazine a week after the slaughter. He charged Life $5,000 for this picture."

Yes, well, this is where you sound crazy. Sharon Tate wasn't actually the intended target, she was renting the house of the intended target. Everyone knows this story in excruciating detail. I do like this comment "He's hiding out in Europe" um, hello? He's from Europe?

I have to say, that in between the madness, there is one thing that has always bugged me: The connection with Rosemary's Baby.

Maybe this is why Nancy Grace is even more rabid than normal to sell the re-arrest of Polanski?

The more I read, the more I agree.

9. The rise of a neonazi skinhead movement that carries the satanic bible as a holy text might have closer ties to Lavey, a jew, than to any actual Nazis. This is similar logic to the ugly sockpuppet: Create a bogus opponent that totally discredits itself, and then use it as an enemy.

10. Lavey and Manson's motivations seemed to be primarily nookie, but might have had some serious aspirations of starting more major subcultures.

11. The circumstances of Polanski's sex with the 13yo are curious, and probably not unusual, except in the normal world: she was brought to a hollywood party, drugged, and raped, something which smacks both of "hollywood as usual" and of the church of satan. It doesn't fit the Manson model, his followers were all converts. They just killed people.

But undoubtedly some of this is true. Polanski's own statements of his past don't hold up. He claimed to have his family murdered by Nazis on the Eastern front, and to have lain under their dead bodies for three days waiting for the Soviets. He's also mentioned being in Auschwitz, having family members die there. Polanski is from France and may have never been to Poland. There are conflicting reports involving some family members returning to Poland to be killed. If there is truth in this, it wasn't a brilliant move. In 1936, a french family could have moved to any french colony, and if you feared a German invasion, then Poland would be last on the list of places to go, since the German govt. have already made a territorial claim to the country.

13. Again, when it came to Polanski and the girl, he claimed that this was an affair with a fan, but then plead guilty in a plea bargain, after charged with assault, and fled the country while awaiting trial. Nothing sticks to Jack Nicholson in this story either for some reason, it reads like chappaquiddick, Jack had sent to collect some junior high girls to rape, and they boys had a jolly good time. For some reason Polanski got in trouble and no one else, so I'm not sure this is a game of "protect the jew."

14. The film, Rosemary's baby, served two purposes: First, to promote the church of satan, and second, to break the hollywood willy hayes code, to allow film producers to essentially do anything they wanted. To what extent it was orchestrated to do these things, or who was behind either if at all is speculation.

15. The book was written in '67 by Ira Levin, without critical acclaim, it was made into a film

I don't buy it. I haven't looked into Israel, but I have studied the holocaust.

The official story is probably on target numberwise, but incorrect in methods: Most jews probably died in a non-gas chamber camp way:

1. In uniform
2. Labor Camps
3. "Clean Sweep" military area depopulations
4. During Capture
5. Famine
6. Disease

4) escapes people's notice the most. In almost any scene of genocide, whether it's Rwanda, Native Americans, the Slave Trade, roughly 50% of deaths are in capture.

The number of jews depopulated from europe can be measured by census counts. The only suspect data is the 1935 "estimate" of 3 million jews in poland, which is coming way over the last census estimate of around 1 million. More than a million jews were killed *in* Poland, certainly, but the Nazis were exporting jews *to* Poland for that purpose.

So, sure, you can subtract all the immigrant jewish population figures and you might end up under 4 million, but the numbers will go back up again once you start counting the Russians who we not included, esp. those in uniform.

I don't take issue with the 6 million figure. It's at the very least close enough, it might end up being low. It's not like changing the number would change anything, and when you add in Soviet exterminations, it goes even higher.

True, these pale in comparison to other Russian and Chinese deaths, so why this is a Jewish holocaust alone is hard to understand. Seems like 10% of the dead are Jewish if you put the end date at 1945, and 5% if you extend it through Mao.

Even if you take the physical body count at Auschwitz as 1.2 million, and the survivors estimates that the inmates were 1/2 jewish, then yes, like the jew registry, you're back down to 600,000, but that falls apart when you look at the rest of europe and the overall population decline. Sure, some jews may have converted, but I can't say that those conversions would have been counted. People were being counted as jews in the 1930s whose families hadn't been jewish for decades.

Again, you run into all sorts of problems with holocaust denial theories. Sure, the "question the official story and you die" rule in the EU is fairly out of control, but that doesn't make the opposition correct. I suspect that of 11 million civilian casualties caused by Germany, and 20 million from the USSR, than among those, there's ample evidence and reason to think that 6 million dead jews is not only plausible, but likely. Consider also, that the USSR was fairly anti-semitic, and had conscription. They were likely to not only draft jews, but put them on the front lines.

I think in general, it's a fairly pointless run around, when you start looking at what the Nazi definition, now Ironically the Israeli definition, of "jew" was: 1/4th jewish. If 9/10 jewish families were converts or the descendents of, then 1/4 jewish implied nothing genetic or religious. My guess? It was a greedy definition to create the maximum base for slave labor.

If you want to question the soap stories and lampshades, that's another matter. Those might be tall tales. But I don't think that you'll get far with the death toll.

This same thing comes up very often with other casualties. We now pretty much all accept that the #1 killer of native americans was european diseases, but for a long time it was considered to be massacres. Disease was the main killer in the civil war and WWI as well.

It was also the main killer in the great depression. "8 million dead" headlines weren't wrong, but it seems that this was not pure starvation, a revival of the 1918 flu IIRC killed 6 million Americans, which still leaves 2 million unaccounted for, who may have died of the famine.

There's all sorts of logic here that doesn't add up.
