They're allowing people in the UK to bid as well. Most don't as the money conversion is a pain. It does seem legitimate.

I wonder how that person got all that stuff. They have other Firefly actions running too. More promotional items. They look legit.

I bought a set of these on eBay a little while back. They were originally part of the "press kit" that you may've heard of now and again. Amongst other things, there were only these three blueprints included in the press kits: the engine room, a hallway, and a door. They are nice and detailed, but by no means actual, full-size set blueprints, nor are they a complete Serenity (just in case you were gettin' hopeful).

I was gonna scan mine in and post 'em on my website, but... I got lazy... and they're bigger than my little scanner (which equates to effort, which is subdued by the lazy thing). And now they're hanging in my office at work. If I can remember, I'll try to copy them to a pdf and post them.

Ay-ya hwai leh!

Damn I'd love to get my hands on that map, the terming in the description as it being a "planetary nebula" would go a long way to helping me with my theories on the construction of the 'verse.

(I deleted the 6MB picture as it was taking up too much room.) The promo starmap is pretty much just a current starmap. Nothing Firefly-ish about it, really....

The star map is from National Geographics sky map that they took and superimposed 4 layers of it to make the one used by Wash. some of the layers are backwards. So there's nothing really indicative of whats in the firefly verse... but you will recognize the constellations and star names from Earth's night sky.

The auctions are for some of the items that came collectively in the press kit. Very shiny things to have, but they always go high on Ebay. Browncoats are obviously willing to spend big bucks for all things Firefly.
