Been there, tried that, continually do not enjoy it, but thanks anyway.

damn, that means all I've got for you is virtual green tea and sympathy, which you are more than welcome to if it's of any help.

I have a horrible headache this morning so I'm gonna hide in corner and hope work doesn't notice.

*lurks*

Gee- you could always put a bag over your head to shield yourself and dim all the lights. See how long it takes anyone to notice. Set up a "cone of silence" and smack anyone who TALKS REAL LOUD near you.

Or just stick your head in the fish tank and get it over with.

I've had headaches that *almost* made me think death might quite possibly be a viable alternative to start considering. But then it stopped and I felt silly.

Migraines. Wacky fun!

MsA, were it not for the "prenatal" part of that post I'd be totally jealous. I feel like someone needs to grab me by the head and flip me like a sheet so that my body reaches maximum extension and makes a lovely sine wave.

Or I could just get off my arse, do some yoga and get some exercise. And put in a bathtub and take a nice hot soak for the first time in over three years. I'm tempted to rent a hotel room some day so I can use a big deep tub.

Sigh.

Well, off to work! New mistakes to learn from today!

Yeeowch, those kinds of headaches are not to be trifled with. I think there should be some kind of clause that you can sleep through that sort of day.

Last week I was kicking my heavy bag and my leg slipped. My muscles freaked out and clamped tight. It hurt to walk for two days, and likely would have hurt much longer if I had no one to fix me. If my mom wasn't a CMT, I think I would have died of pain long ago.

Time to go to class. Yay.

hey all,

fighting through day, for the first time in ages I have found myself bereft of Paracetamol, but coping, I know what SR is talking about as I do get migraines but been a while since I've suffered one.

Thanks for the offer flt but I have to avoid both Ibuprofen and Asprin thanks to drugs currently on, I swear I rattle first thing in the morning.

As for illness, what is it with people and sniffles? You haven't got effing swine flu, you've not even got flu, the fact that you're at work proves you haven't got flu. If you're at work, you have a cold.

anyway, I'm having a fun time manually archiving email from our server as users (it's a departmental shared mailbox) are incapable. Currently managed a reduction of somewhere in the region of 4.5 Gb on the exchange server, I wish I was joking.

Impressed by the sounds of kicking heavy bag PR, the only thing I kick is a football although I seem to have found my shooting boots now.

Anyway, home time, meant to wash up and revise, might sleep for a bit first, try to discover my humanity again!

My wife suffers from cluster migraines. She's had them last for weeks at a time. It's awful. On the plus side, she's found a good migraine preventive. Only 2 migraines so far this year!

I've never heard of cluster migraines. I've heard of cluster headaches, which also suck, and men tend to be more prone to them vs. women getting the bulk of the migraines.

Brain go 'splodey feeling bad.
