I recently bought season 5, loved it, then got season 1, loved it, and now I'm plowing throught season 2, and am

wait for it

loving it.

My question is, I've read things about seasons 3 & 4 that suggest to me that I might do better not getting them.
Like, how many times am I supposed to buy Sloan getting out of prison to head ANOTHER agency... is Vaughn's marrage just a plot device, or is he really stupid enough to marry a bad guy... are the stand-alone eps in season 4 any good when I've become acustomed to arc-driven seasons... ?

I'm thinking by the end of season 2, I should just stop there while I've already seen the best Alias has to offer.
Thoughts, my peeps?

Thanks in advance.

Season Three had its ups and downs, mostly downs, and I stopped watching Season Four after the first episode. I can't recommend them, but if you find them real cheap...

Season 4 is the weakest, the plot devices that you mention become convoluted and they stray from the relationships and focus more on individual character development. Season five brings the relationships back on track, especially the one between Sydney and her father Jack and of course, Sydney and Vaughn, at the end:)

You could always rent season four.

I found season five to be most entertaining & satisfying, and, having seen season one & most of two, incredibly "loose end tying."

Did you see season five? I thought it was very neat, Drew Goddard was one of the writers.

I only watched the series finale. It did not tempt me to go back and watch what I had missed.

When did you go retarded?

Skipping a good, if uneven season, to jump to the far-and-away worst.....?

Bad move.
