I wanna get different fonts...how do I do that? S'not boredom for me, it's use of color, font, emoticons...you probably noticed the latter... ;o) I've spent hours and HOURS on emoticons, and have a huge library...sometimes they can "say it all" as opposed to lengthy typing, eh?

Ooohh - no idea. Good idea, though.

What's the forum software, and I'll do some digging.

Probably just a simple "command line" issue, like the font size and color. Something like "" or something like that.

If that worked, quote it to see how.

Nope, not working. I'm trying putting in things like "font=aachen" or "font=times roman", but it's not taking it. Those are inside the brackets, by the way.

Didn't work. We've got it on our forum, which is run by SMF, but I don't know how that translates...desktop publisher = manipulation; IT = understanding of codes Oh, well, gotta go walk the dogs...lemme know if you figure out, and I'll keep trying, too. Byeee

Oh, and yes, I LOVE this place...the OB is set up in the simple, old style, none of the bells and whistles of here. S'KEWL!

Only reason I was wondering about what forum software we're running is because then I can "cheat" - I can go and Google™ searchwords like "forum software xxxxx how to change fonts" or some such. See if there's a simple command sequence.

By the way, it seems the max font size it lets you spec is 18 point. I tried 24 point, but it wasn't any bigger. So from 18 down to 1 point (I tried 0.5, but to no avail).

Since you're so geeky for emoticons - and I *LOVE* your emoticons, by the way - I figure you can have some fun with font sizes and colors, if not the fonts themselves.

Yeah, I just spotted that...now for some fun...seems you don't need the / ending--unless you want to change it further? But what is the BASIC font face so I can "stop" the one I chose that's different?

Thanx Penguin...those are kewl. But some of them didn't work...and whatcha know about FONTS themselves, like what's available (Times, Garamond, etc.?). The availability of colors is GREAT...wheeee!

I like "small"...sometimes I wanna talk in a leeetle, tiny voice...

Ahh, some of the font faces don't work--and Arial works, 'cuz this is it...Ack, the dogs are gonna KILL me, gotta go before it gets too hot...but I can't pull myself AWAY...

But these seem to work:

But then, the question becomes: are those that don't work because I don't have them on MY computer, or because the website doesn't?? You guys will have to tell me what YOU see...eh?
