Since this thread's dead anyway (yet people keep replying to it), I'm gonna hijack it. (Hi, Jack! *gets taken away*)

Does anybody know how to crack open a PNY 1Gb Attache flash drive without completely destroying it? The USB port is just dangling there and not making any contact with the... um... contacts. I was hoping to open it up and solder it together, 'cause what the hell.

Rahl: I'm...not exactly sure what a PNY flash drive looks like (though I'd imagine they look about the same as any other flash drive) have you tried using something thin to wedge between the sides in an attempt to pop it open? if, indeed, the sides do separate?

IQ and actual intelligence are not interrelated. I know plenty of people with a high IQ who have the sense and social skills of a troglodite. most prepubescent kids are incredibly intelligent, but emotionally immature and somewhat primal in their interactions. they need a lot of quality support, patience and guidance to help them on the path to maturity.

Tried to use my pocket knife to pry where the two sides were snapped together (most like by a machine), but they must've used a glue to seal it.

That's it... I need a vise, a steak knife, and a hammer! (might damage the info)
