I'm from Kentucky, but I don't live there. I left when I was 18, lived there briefly in the late 90s, left again in 2001, and haven't been back.
But, I was born and raised in Kentucky, and it will always be my home.
I know that isn't helpful, and I do know several other fans of Firefly, but none of them frequent here.
Sorry.

Sweet...
Northern Ky, like, Covington/Cincinnati area? Or Northern Ky, like, Louisville area? We're in Louisville and the surrounding (at least for the next few weeks or so). Good to know we're not alone out here!

The Covington/Cincy area. The most northern of Ky you can get without being in OH. Actually, I live in Highland Heights, right down the road from NKU.
Are there any Browncoat or equivalent events in Louisville? There's nothing up here happening related to Serenity/Firefly (as far as I know). Great to hear from ya! Shiny!

As far as I know, no. I haven't heard of anything, anyway. A few fans scattered here and there who talk amongst themselves. Nothing you could officially call "Browncoats," although I wish like hell there was. Closest event I've heard about was that in Nashville, and I managed to miss that one.
Of course, I've been out of the con-circuit for several years, so there may be lots I don't know about. I had an old friend of mine look me up on Facebook here recently, so I'm planning to ask him. He's a pro, does comic books and the like, talks to and/or knows EVERYbody.
I'm getting ready to travel again, so you may be on your own in the KY for awhile. I've been steadily infecting others with the Firefly fever, though, so keep your eyes open. I'll still be around here (fireflyfans.net) wherever I go, though.
Good to know it's not just me & mine!
