NV hmmm I think I missed out on a lot of pop culture stuff. I was so obsessed with being a dancer that I never really did anything else. So when I see stuff like I love the 80's I'm stunned at all teh things I missed out on..

Being 57 years old I have had plenty of time to miss the boat. I am sure my life could have gone in all sorts of directions. But I have taken the road less traveled at times.

The one thing that I wish I had done was taken some writing courses. I love to read and I would like to turn that around and have someone reading something of my own.

When you have been introduced to the works of J.R.R.Tolkien, Steinbeck, Herman Hesse, and John Irving you get a desire to follow them with works of your own. I am not saying I have the wisdom or the talent of such people, but it would be nice to create something of my own. Look at J.K. Rowling. Not epic, but certainly has brought some wonderful moments in peoples lives.

One of the difficulties I have with writting is my mind races so fast I can't write fast enough and then so many ideas are passing through my brain that I get lost. I need to train myself to stay focused. I am not concerned about spelling or grammer. The publisher, if they liked my work, would probably have someone proof read it and correct my errors and even suggest different ways to phrase a sentence or even whole chapters.

You must excuse me if i sound a little off. My anti-virus software went down today and it took hours to repair. I think the anguish and probably dehydration gave me a horrific leg cramp. It felt like some took a knife and ran it through my leg. I was on the floor begging to God. So now I am exhausted.

I wanted to work on my car today, but that will have to wait. So I am responding to posts and lurking to bring my mind back to the living.

EDIT: It is now 5:00 am and I am about to crash. It is my turn. My internet security system crashed again. But I got a support tech who really new her/his stuff. All these people are in India, so I don't know a male from a female name. The are just a lot longer and far more interesting then my English name. My name is so dull. I rather enjoy seeing the techs work on my machine by remote. My curser is moving around and clicking on things while I just sit back and watch. Can you imagine someone is useing my computer all the way from India. We Type messages back and forth so I know what's going on. Well I am rambling because I am really exhausted now.

that is why keyboards are so fraking awesome. *gave up on hand writing when she started learning computers* ^_^ they're life savers for racing minds. careful though, it's easy to piss away 10 hours plus writing via computer. good luck with your endeavors ^_^

EDIT: you know, you might not be as bad as you think in the grammar/words/phrasing department. I've found the more I read and the more often I read, the better I write. Don't sell yourself short ;)

I type. I have my Word software. It has gotten some use. Resume being one of them. Know anyone who needs a mechanical designer with knowledge of hydrualic devices. If you own a new Mustang, there is a valve in it that I helped develope. You get better gas mileage because of it.

I am rested again. It was hard to sleep because I was so upset about my antivirus software closing down on me and I also was recovering from a severe leg cramp. It has been more then 24 hours and my leg still hurts. I was literally on the floor screaming to God almighty. I have not had a cramp like that in years.

My software closed down again yesterday and I had to contact the service support people a third time. This time they ran a fixit program and I am hopeful it is finally cured. I have never had so much difficulty getting anything corrected on my computer before.
