NIKI2, for clarity, King was the jerk who Jewel identified after telling her she gained wieght, Jewel was said BDH, and Peacekeeper was referring to King in his warning.
I think the other newbs are trying to stay only in that one thread until they've completed the sereis, to avoid spoilers. If they have that thread bookmarked or shortcuted, they can jump right to there without stumbling across spoilerish threadtitles and such.

I must say, I find the emoticons quite entertaining, myself - it certainly adds a certain spirit to your postings which text alone does lack.
