Oh fun, reads like an episode. :) And I love the affectionately satirized "cheesy murder thriller writer" style. Dancer figure? Really?
Yes, laughter is imminent.

I read this yesterday and was highly amused by the enormous amount of cheese and the fact that 'Castle' really just changed the names, added his writing style and sent it off to be published. It's pretty much an embellished episode.
ABC is pretty genius for putting this out and the Castle mystery tweets.

I agree, cheesy good fun and a great marketing idea by ABC.
Here's a question that Nathan Fillion tweeted the other day. "If you had a chance for him to sign 'Heat Wave", would you want him to sign it "Nathan Fillion" or "Richard Castle"?"
I say have 2 copies and get one each. The "Richard Castle" one would have an incredible cheese factor.

I keep checking back, but I don't see any new chapters posted. There's supposed to be ten, right?
Oh well, maybe I should just but the book. I mean, it's only $11 dollars, some of my vegan food costs more than that.
Well, not quite, but still. Good entertainment for CHEAP without the alarming blood loss or hygienic concerns? Oh very yes.

I love the description of the planetarium, I've been there so I can see it in my mind! So cool.

So I read the second chapter finally. I was mildly disappointed with the first chapter because it was too much like the show but with the second chapter it's growing on me a little.
