Interest: Pretty darn accurate jayne gloves

These are the closest I've found after quite some time searching:

They are a little lighter looking that the ones from the show but I think that could be fixed with a little creative "weathering." The hardest thing to match has been the black palm/back strip with a grayish, brownish canvas and these have it.

The big downside to these is that you have to order them by the dozen so if I can get about 5 people to commit for about 5$ a pair plus shipping I'm cool with tryin to ebay the rest or somethin.

2 bits I forgot
-I'm thinking Large size would fit the most people (they'll all have to be the same size) since the finger length won't really matter after they're cut off. If anyone is opposed to that let me know.

-Shipping looks to be around 4$ for one to three pairs in a flat rate envelope or around 3$ first class mail.

Verasam and Baneful, I've never shipped to the UK but I'm certainly willing to. You folks have any suggestions as to the best service to use?

Okay folks, I put the order in two nights ago. Good news, they actually came out to $4 and change so we'll round it down and call it 4 a pair even plus whatever shipping you want. So as you may have guessed, there have been some technical difficulties with the gloves. At the top of the page you can see what was pictured on the Amazon listing I used for the order, looks pretty good right? Here is what the primary retailer for these, TASCO, shipped me a dozen of:

- I sent those back and it's been back to the drawing board but I've tracked down and been in contact with the maker of the gloves (West Chester) who helped me find a different retailer and am closing in on what I think is the right look.
I'm gonna order a few sample pairs and post the pics for anyone still interested in the next few days and will keep this thread updated. Thanks for your responses and I'm so sorry and embarassed for these evil shenanigans folks
