And yet David Letterman is still alive. Yes that's a mean thing to write, but the GREAT ONES are leaving us in mass. I can't wait for 2009 to end already.

another man gone...
We were commenting at work the other night, about all the celebrities dying-- it's been a bad couple of weeks.
And I mentioned that nobody from Broadway had died, they were all TV, movie, or music people.
Now Malden, who was in the original cast of Streetcar Named Desire, on Broadway, with Brando, about the year I was born. Son of a gun.
And yesterday, Harve Presnel, who did the leading man Broadway musical thing when he was a young man. I can't even picture that, he's so firmly stuck in my mind as Mr. Parker on the Pretender, and the father in Fargo-- stubborn, strong, grumpy middle aged guys with short gray hair.
