We are 3 days away from the end of November sweeps, and only 125 people have reported that they sent postcards to Fox. Please send postcards and let us know at postcards@jossisahottie.com

Please tell your friends to watch Firefly.

Have a Firefly party. Show the first several episodes to get your friends caught up. Take pictures and make a website about your party!

Go to the official Firefly forum at http://forums.prospero.com/foxfirefly, print out the poster there and tape it in your car window.

Post at every message board you can find.

Over 3000 people have signed the petition to continue Firefly, but less than 4% of those people have sent postcards.

Actually November sweeps will go on all month.

It used to be "sweeps week" but nowadays all the shows trot out their best stuff for a four week period in an effort to win the ratings war (and they do this three times a year).

Nevertheless: KEEP SENDING OUT THOSE POSTCARDS!!!

Every little effort on your part helps Firefly's chances greatly.

For my part, I have sent postcards to Fox and all 39 advertisers posted at www.fireflysupport.com. I also made three friends of mine (all fans of the show) do the very same.

Buy yourself a roll of 23 cent stamps, turn on your printer (not to mention some good music) and have a postcard writing fest.

You can even host a postcard writing/Firefly viewing party where (assuming you have the show taped) in between each episode, everyone prints out, signs and stamps another ten cards before hitting play on the next episode.

However you do it, DO IT!! Make it fun, because "We all know fun rules" (to quote Linklater's Waking Life).

So far the campaign is going very well. But we need still more power if Fox is going to notice us! Keep sending your postcards, advertising on your car, telling your friends to watch Firefly, and watching it yourself.

Hiya, first time poster.. yadda yadda..

I am enjoying Firefly a lot, and I think if it's given a chance, it may be able to build a following.

I'm also in support of the postcard campaign, but I have a question.

As a resident of Canada, will Fox even recognize my support? I watch the show on my local Fox affiliate, but, as per Canadian regulation, the show is simulcast on the Fox channel with the Canadian commericals. So do they care what i think? They're only selling ads to you. They've already sold the show to the Canadian network showing it, and they're not making money off the commerical time.

Anyway, long story short. If I send a postcard, will anyone listen?

yeah I was wondering the same thing...that's why I didn't send anything yet cause I'm not american and the channel with the right to the show here in Canada is Global

I would send the postcards no matter if you watch American commercials, Canadian commercials, or no commercials at all. Just let FOX know you like Firefly. If you're a fan, no doubt you'll be talking about FF to friends and family. Every viewer is a potential link to new viewers who just may watch those FOX ads that generate revenue. Definitely write FOX and do it soon please.
