I agree, hair is never a problem, can always wear wigs or extentions however age will be a big problem if Jayne does not want to be old...
other series where Summer appeared was The Unit but only a few episodes

adam isn't that old and if they do it in the next few years, it would be no problem.
They could also bring back wash and sheppard, they could say something like they faked their deaths or etc. there are many different things they could do.
Adam Baldwin played in season 5 of Angel and he
also plays on Stargate SG-1 season 7 2parter Heroes part1 and 2 episodes 17 & 18
Nathan played in saving private ryan and driven or whatever that was called.
I think summer played a episode in Angel as well
Zoe(can't remember her name at the moment appoligies) plays in season 4 of Angel She plays as Connor and Cordy's child/demon
Jewel Staite plays on Stargate Atlantis as a doctor and she also played in season 2 as a wraith who was being fathered and protected by a guy on a planet.
Those are of the top of my head there are alot more, i just can't think of them right now
