I'm awake! Though I'm slightly more loopy than usual... definitely warped on the inside (my sleep scedule's way off, at least on the 'wake up at 8 get to bed at reasonable hour' scale..). I think society is wrong though- the day should only start at noon, when that pesky morning stuff is safely over with!

No, but that's probably only because I don't have anything to do with meds (motren for headaches, multivitamins when mom makes me shove those huge suckers down my throat, that's it.)

Imagine the Bavarian equivalent of Sheriff Taylor taking police reports from the locals and trying to keep Herr Fife from interrogating/threatening to shoot everybody in sight until finally the culprit is unmasked. It's not the town drunk or the suspiciously kindly old ladies from the underground bingo hall but a dog (more or less) doing what dogs do - chew on shoes. (More or less)
