Slumming, hands down. While not everyone is a Mal/River shipper, Slumming makes it all believable and the Mal voice in these fics is always dead on. Plus the 'verse is expanded to include aditional characters, all vividly drawn and very much adhering to the original tone of Firefly. If you haven't read them, READ THEM ASAP!!!

Some of you guys know I don't come here often...but I do keep up a bit and lurk some. (Thanks to Firefly Signal over on LJ, that is.) Anyway...I wanted to say thanks for the fun recs! If I ever stop writing enough to read fic again, I have new authors to look for! Thanks!

Yeah, I've been around here for a bit, but I don't post over here. I just can't keep track of another site. Every now and then a Signal link pulls me over here and sometimes that link is enough to make me post, but I just can't do another site, so...my fic and such isn't here.

Thanks too to those who have rec'd me here. I know I've not been around much in the last .. well, long time, and I do apologize. I'm still working on all my on-going stories, and some stand alones. They just don't like to come out of me as easy as they used to.

Pretty much all my favourites have been mentioned in this thread already (or contributed to it), but I'll include Arcadia, who's done some really nice work, her Over the Hills and Far Away series has some great moments, and her stand alones are excellent as well.

Mal4prez tops my list as definitely great stuff, and I like Wytchcroft's quirkyness.

For something away from the main characters, SoulofSerenity & Werzbowski, Needy, castironjack, are some great stories too.

Cosmicfugitive is good for some scares as well.

I know there are others I've read and commented on that I've missed. I've got a great memory but it's really REALLY short, so my appologies to those I've liked but failed to mention.

There are also a number of excellent writers that may not have posted an actual fic, but have contributed to threads like Sereni-Tree, Destiny and Special Branch.
