Visit to Universal Studio

I live in Los Angeles and hold a season pass to Universal Studios. I decided to vist today and I took the backlot tour. While I did not see any actual sets or filming of Serenity, the tour driver mentioned the production on more than one occasion. In fact, we were all told to be quite as we passed sound stage 12 because the tour guide said "they are currenty filming the Firefly movie Serenity." I know this is not a big deal, but it was shiny to know that I was within five humdred feet of our crew. It was a shiny day! :)

Now, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is take the tour everyday and report any shiny crew sightings. What? You don't think I'm serious, do you? ;-)

I do plan on going back to Universal again next week to take the tour again. You never know, I might get a glimspe of something. The tour guide said you could see inside the soud stage earlier in the day. Maybe I'll be more luck next time. I'll let you know.
