...The actor noted that the special effects were done by Zoic, the same company that worked on his previous science fiction series, Firefly, and declared the FX, "really awesome," saying, "Zoic does all the spacecrafts and anything requiring digital enhancement is Zoic and they do a great job. And then, of course, [Firefly's] Morena Baccarin is in it and she's the leader of the aliens, so you can't get any better than that."

Tudyk said he and Baccarin have no scenes together in the V pilot, "but we did get to hang out and that was cool."

I am SO watching V.

So Morena Baccarin is going to try to take over the world. And the people of earth don't like it? I don't understand.

All jokes aside, it looks pretty good. I'm too young to have ever seen the original, but I'll definitely check this out.

Goodness, I forgot just how big Diana's hair was... should have tipped us off right there.. no one GOOD can have hair that big..

I so cannot wait for this - SO the major V fanatic!! I should dig out all my old paperbacks and re-read them (I managed to get a hold of a complete collection of them!)

The original V was no little show that aired on some 4th in line Fox network that got pre-empted and episodes mixed-up. It was a major network event, almost on the same magnitude as Roots and Shogun. Everyone tuned in and watched. If ABC had done to V what Fox did to Firefly there would have been rioting in the streets. I really hope they give the BDH's great lines in this new V, and I hope the presentation is done right. Morena has the potential to overnight become a major star if this is promoted well and people like it. Jane Badler, the original Diana, was the most famous actress in the world for a time during V's multi-year run.
