The Asian Moon Festival is happening this weekend (6/11 - 6/13) down at the Henry Maier Festival grounds (Milwaukee, WI lakefront). I'm planning on attending (assuming the weather cooperates). Anyone else want to meet there?

Here's the blurb for it:
What does Asia mean to you? Too many things to count? Just as Asia represents many cultures (Chinese, Thai, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Laotian, Vietnamese and others), the festival is incredibly multi-faceted. For example, you can walk through the marketplace and learn about 4000-year-old healing practices like acupuncture, Chinese herbs, henna, Thai massage and tai chi chuan. You can watch martial artists show their expertise in kung fu, kickboxing, jujitsu and aikido, as well as see a traditional judo tournament. Hungry? The food court is your oyster. Choices range from pot stickers to pad Thai. And the live entertainment promises some standouts. Jazz pianist Hiromi (who's improvised with Chick Corea) plays for the first time in Wisconsin and Mary Ohno performs traditional kabuki drama (a mix of dance, gestures and song). The schedule also features a Polynesian dance troupe, Indian dance theatre and taiko drum performance. -- C.W

No plan as to a specific time, yet.

Well, today is the day.
If anyone else should be interested in attending, I will be wearing one of my Firefly t-shirts. Probably won't be there until early afternoon. (Need to run a few errands first.)
