New to the Firefly verse

Alright, so being from a little country of South Africa. And now in Vancouver.
A friend let me borrow the Firefly special Edition and Serenity Special Edition.

I would just like to say: I am now a browncoat.
I guess I feel like many of you did back in the day. 'How could this show be canceled?'

It seems Firefly was a very appropriate name for the show. It shone brilliantly for an instant but died so quickly.

I hold a little resentment towards Fox now. But I won't let it get the better of me. Grrrr.

Man, I already miss the show. *tear*

It is really good to have you join us. I’ve been a member since 2006 on the boat here and the family just keeps getting bigger. We like it that way.

Anyhoo, enjoy all the posts and all the other browncoats who are aboard. Grab a browncoat out of that locker over there. I know it’s only a “virtual browncoat” but hey, if they were all real we’d be broke….right? LOL….just jokin with ya!

yeah, reason reality shows are so popular, is partly because teenie boppers watch them, but also they're easy to make.

hence, cheap costs equals cheap programming.
