I think the worst part is that this man is only one heartbeat away from the Presidency. I mean, I'm all for the Freedom of Information act, and I'm serious about that, but we do have a few secrets that need to stay. . .well, secrets.

It sure doesn't sound like this "secret VP bunker" was any kind of official/traditional haven--it's just Cheney's paranoiac getaway. Why shouldn't Biden disclose that?

Or were you goin' for the funny, as in, "some things should remain secret...like Cheney's embarrassing/pathetic/absurd obsessions?"

Just a thought of course. This was supposed to be a way to protect the VP in the event that, God Forbid, we have another terrorist attack.

If you make the terrorists actually look for the targets, it may take them longer to find them, lol.

Because "undisclosed location" sounds good. It sounds serious. It sounds like in the middle of an attack its all going to be ok because somewhere out there the folks in charge are running the show.

Somehow saying the VP is "in the basement" does not have have the same ring to it.

Y'all are makin a mistake takin that guy for stupid.

That was no more an accident than the whole diplomatic slams against the British, and by giving him a pass on "stupidity" you fall right into the trap.

yeah, but if we let them know about targets that no one would be upset to lose, maybe we could avoid the loss of innocent life at a potential target that we do care about.
