Must've fainted.
I thought you were going to see it over the weekend!! I was looking forward to seeing what you thought of it! SHEESH!! Get on the BALL, Man!
Mal: You think she'll hold together?
Zoë: She's torn up plenty, but she'll fly true.
Mal: Could be bumpy.
Zoë: Always is

Well yer in for a treat. It really is a good movie. Very good characters, great action, great effects. Overall an A grade, from me. Far from perfect, but very fun and enjoyable.

And on a side-note for ya, Chris. I have caught a couple of the remastered Treks on the tube lately and I've been very impressed with the visual quality of those as well. Whoever did the remastering earned their paycheck for that job, I tell ya.

Thanks.
There is a bit of that, but not nearly as much as in MI3.

Yup, the vibe-o-cam is kept to a minimum though the lens flare might prove a tad distracting. But it's such a great ride, if you come out grumbling the scenery, that's your lookout!

OK now I am officially disappointed.

I too was looking forward to reading your views, especially as you hold the TOS in such high regard (and rightly so).
Say three Hail Abrams and bash your head against the wall four times as punishment.
Then get it sorted. Right now. Stop whatever you are doing and go see it.

I watched that I loved it! Justin Lee Collins was immence! I was so suprised he managed to find the Gron! (It is the Gron right?I've only seen that episode once coz it made me LOL so much I nearly died.)
Mine is an EVIL laugh!
Actually it's 'Gorn' but seeing as you like JLC I'll let it slide.

Yeah it was a great show and it was nice to hear some real views of what the set was really like.
It was great when Walter Koenig ran by him and he almost didn't spot him!! Fantastic stuff.
I did think the get together at the end was crap though. It didn't look like any of the cast were even there at the same time. Poor but then he only had 10 days to get them together. I wish they'd give him more time and do a proper job.
Still a great show.

Just come back from seeing it &&, quite simple, WOW. I've never seen any of the original Trek, but I'm in the process of hunting some down now to watch during my study leave (y' know, coz thats what study leave is meant for
) I thought it was excellent, and I didn't realise that Leonard Nimoy was the one playing 'old Spock' until my Dad told me after the movie. That, my friends, was a brilliant touch.
I agree with everything everyone above has said, I can't think of any complaints.
