Hey, you're the one that gave me the idea for the screen name with your "Duel Of The Titans" comment!
I know they'll be back, but I just got tired of them jumping ahead. I feel like John Henry against the steam engine, though, fighting alone with just a standard browser with cookies enabled and no scripts.
I've already mentioned my "secrets" several times, and welcome anyone who wants to help out. Conversely, if folks want me to back off, that's cool, too.

I actually answered that question when you asked it on on Monday. Works for me, but doesn't look like what they're routinely doing. And of course, right now they're crying that somebody's cheating. Didn't happen, of course, when they ran up a couple thousand votes from Saturday night to Monday morning...

It was the reply to your Monday totals post, when you asked if anyone knew how to cheat. The gist is that the site has to think your IP address hasn't voted in six hours. The Jericho folks have talked about clearing cookies and voting again, but I've never tried that. The fastest way I know is to use a proxy site - each one has a different IP address and there are a lot you can go through once every six hours. The downside is that with Jericho fans apparently doing the same thins and many sites going to the same "real" address you often vote without any change in totals. That and the popups, but use a good browser and that's not a problem. With practice you can run quite a few at a time.
(If you're watching the Jericho board, it's pretty funny. Now they're accusing me of running up the Jericho votes to make them look bad. Maybe it really is someone they don't know, but the timing sure fits when two or three of them are on. I can watch their votes run up by 30-40 and within a few minutes one of them posts that they're "voting around"...)

Well, somebody figured it out last night - I figured it was you! Just search for free proxy sites, pick one and paste the voting url in. Could say "Browse" or "Go". They vary. Some give you lists of multiple sites, the fastest way to go.
