Hello everyone,

The details have been finalized and we are all set for CSTS 2009!

The event will be held once again at the Market Square Theater in Madison on Saturday, July 11th beginning at 9pm. In addition to everyone's favorite movie, Serenity, we will also be showing Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog this year.

Schedule of Events:

8:30 - Doors Open
9:00 - Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
9:45 - Door Prizes
10:00 - Serenity

Tickets, T-shirts, and Posters are available on our website now at http://www.cstsmadison.com

Please note: Shirts and Posters must be ordered by May 14th to guarantee availability. I will be ordering extras at that time that will be available on a first come first serve basis.

I hope everyone is as excited as I am for our fourth year!

This is the first year I'll be involved in CSTS on any level: for the deadlines to buy shirts/posters/etc. that I've seen mentioned here and elsewhere, is that for individuals or planners? I personally don't want to miss out on that shiny artwork this year in addition to supporting the cause!

Individuals I believe. Some organizers/planners will have brought extras to sell at the screenings, but how many, what size etc or if any is a risk you have to decide about.

Salt Lake City, UT has registered, I know we are finalizing a locale still so the date is up in the air but July was bantered about as a possibility.

Anony1 is right. The deadline is for pre-orders. If you have a nearby city where you plan to attend a screening, you can pre-order merchandise through their website. That way you'll be sure and get the shirt size or poster that you wanted. Or you can wait until the day of the screening. But you won't be guaranteed that you'll get the size you need.
Plus some cities don't buy extras to have on-hand. So it would be wise to double-check with your local organizer to make sure they'll have extras if you decide to wait.
The merchandise this year is unbelievable. I think once you see everything being offered, you'll want to get at least something.

I'd already seen the Madison CSTS dates were posted several days ago.

Are there flyers available? even for download? So we can post them in our car windows?
Or maybe even a windshield sunshield?

Get in touch with Tim (Madison organizer) and see if he has a downloadable file for the WI event. Since each city has their own date & venue, there isn't a universal flyer from CSTS Global. But some cities used the main logo and worked up their own flyer.
Making the event flyer available for download is a great way to let everybody help with publicity. I highly recommend it for any city looking to promote their CSTS screening.

If anyone is wondering, there are 2 dates for Toronto because we are showing Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog on the 6th and then Serenity on the 20th. They both should be great times. We've got a lot of new people coming out this year and it is a new theatre to us- very central and easy to get to. We may not fill all 800 seats but we'll try!
