The remake of Day The Earth Stood Still seriously blew chunks.
And I was watching it like I never saw the original. Plot holes galore, unlikely government actions, dopey Gort particle/insects...

Please peeps, do what I didn't and avoid this mess.

Huh, two days ago I went to Burlington with a friend and he told me the movie was great and wanted to loan it to me. I haven't seen the movie yet.

I did not see it. Heard from several sources it was bad. Prefer the memory of the original.
