I think the best part of this weekend was when I told my son & daughter about the movie release date and how excited they got when they heard the news. They took the calendar off the wall & marked the date down on the 2005 calendar in my den.

Invite to any of you Browncoats that live out of the country, if Universal doesn't release the BDM worldwide and you are so inclined to travel to the US, I have room for about a dozen sleeping bags in my living room, which is located in St. Petersburg, Florida (the rest of the house is located there too). Unless I do something wacky and travel to California for the premier, in which case I'll leave the keys under the mat.

While Firefly is a great show, and Serenity will be a great movie…but if you think about it no one really knows about it but a handful of geeks. No way it's going to compete with Ep III where we get to see the birth of Darth Vader.
My prediction…Ep III will make more money in its first weekend than Serenity will make its entire run. I've got money to back up any bets people want to place.
