Cross between HAL 9000, Silent Running and Solaris. But without Cliff Martinez. Looks pretty good.

So it's impossible to get there, but you put up an apparently redacted quote from Armstrong while he WAS there.

Depends how you spell the word Moon/moon.
Upper case = satellite orbiting planet Earth.

NASA always uses lower case, except for all other planets and satellites in the Solar System, and all other objects in the universe. It's their little joke. Grammar is not taught in skools anymore.
Armstrong refuses all interviews and boycotts all "documentaries" about Apollo. He was a great pilot on Earth. At the Clinton/Rockefeller White House, he hinted to the kids to "remove Truth's protective layers". A dozen Apollo astronots died on Earth during Apollo. NASA whistleblowers were murdered with their entire families.

The belief that Man has not not walked on the moon in this day and age is frankly, laughable.
I am old enough to remember watching the missions live. (I admit I was a young child, but I still remember them)
You are entitled to your opinion, as am I.
I started this thread to draw attention to what looked like an interesting movie. Not debate about the moon landings.

Yes, it appears to be a professionally produced science FICTION movie. I'm sure I'll enjoy watching it and decoding it, when it shows on TV. Dont know the total budget they had to work with. I did notice how easy it is for this movie to fake walking on the Moon. Looks just like Apollo.
Movies today must be able to suspend disbelief in order to turn a profit. This is becoming harder to do since the majority of humans realize Apollo was faked. This is one reason shows like Firefly don't do well. Dumbing down the amerikan sheeple to 25th in world edjukashun in science failed to kill common sense.
In the 1960s space radiation was a Top Secret, and only NASA had VCRs. Vietnam Wars, murders of JFK & RFK, Nixon resignation, release of Operation Northwoods/Mongoose in 2000 - too many scams in such a short time. "Mars" missions now show giant golfball craters, and blue skies just like Earth.
Every time I see a space movie I think of Apolloscam. Thin plastic windows dont keep astronuts from cooking into crispy space bacon. Fuel economy probably prevents intersteller traval no matter how advanced technology gets, not counting radiation that destoys all life.
Hollywood must recognize that people aren't as stoopid nor as insane as they'd like them to be, if Hollywood wants to make money in the future. Too late, Hollywoood's been outsourced. However, indy Truth documentaries in USA are a growth industry.
I was a NASA geek in the 1960s, watched all the Apollo missions on fuzzy TV, launched model rockets at public skool, worshipped at the Smithsonian Air & Space museum and Cape Kennedy (never saw an stronot), and even watched Apollo 17 liftoff in person (my dad got an autograph years later during a lawyer convention). Later I became a licensed pilot, worked on supersonic jets, manufactured jets, and studied engineering in college.
I study Apollo now more than I ever did during Apollo. Thank God and DARPA for the internet. And I produce my own TV show and documentaries, winning awards in Hollywood for music videos like "We Never Went to the Moon" (banned at Gitmo in Support The Troops Tours).

I agree: the trailer does make the movie look interesting. I'll be waiting to hear a few reviews.
And I second ShadeSiren: Adam Savage's quote should NOT be used as proof that the Moon landings were faked. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Anyone with experience in scientific/engineering/mechnical testing or video production could spot the defects in mythbusters' hoax, which was financed by NASA and taped on NASA facilities.
MB lost much of their credibility for that show, thus they plan Apolloscam Part 2. Probably a no-bid govt contract.
NASA cancelled its rebuttal to the excellent Apolloscam report on Fox. NASA PR rep Brian Welch dropped dead after he started asking too many questions. He was 45 years old.
