Hey Fans :)

Just joined this site, I've been a fan of the series for a while, but my passion has been renewed from reading the Companion books and re-watching some episodes. I love it so much.

Enough smitten talk.
I have been looking around a bit for a good model of the Serenity ship to construct and paint. I'd be very keen to get my hands on one.

On the site it sounds like they'll be sold, but are they still in production or something?

Do a Google image search for Firefly, Serenity. that's how I got the ones I use for my desktops.

QMx is working on the assembly and paint scheme. Now that all of the individual parts have been sculpted, they have to figure out how do the build with the smallest amount of cast parts for a good solid model. They are also working on the lighting. Then the painting scheme has to be approved and the overall model accepted by Universal.

Awesome! That's so exciting.
This one doesn't seem to be a kit, but the more I look at this the more I think that I don't want to sully such an amazing thing with my crappy crafting skills.

woah, the model is going to be big and pricey. Its looking to be over $1000 for sure. But how can I resist...!?
Despite only being 18 I can't see how I can say no to this. Even with the Aussie dollar being weak to America now.
