I've mentioned this before on here, I'm making a 2 minute 30 second Firefly Fan film short based around the subject of the values of the Independents and their failed struggle for Liberty. I hope to be done with it by November 2009.
I'm trying to combine my libertarian values system with Firefly lore to squeeze out something that might resonate, and appeal to Joss Whedon to tell the tale of the Unification War.
At the Tea Party I thought I ought to bring my Independent Faction Flag (Green, yellow, upsidedown star) to fly along side the american flags, Don't tread on Me Gadsaden Banners, & 13 star flags....but I knew nobody would understand. So I just took my Gadsaden Flag. People often remark to me that it's strange I even have one....but at the Tea Party I was certainly not unique at all.

Those Presidents I listed are the figureheads. They are not the body that makes the laws. You say "These things had their genesis under the Bush Administration" NO!!!! NONONONONONO!!!!
Congress! Look to the capitol building & not the executive mansion I say! The greatest error espoused by the citizenry is always "This happened under Bush" or "This is all Clinton's fault" or whatever. This is how the non-representating representatives get away with tyranny year-to-year. If congressmen believed...honestly believed....that their re-election bids were in question for not representing their constituencies, this would be a far different country.
Remember that the job of the president is to Enforce the Laws. That is all.
