Hey everyone! I just heard that NASA officials will be on The Colbert Report tonight to announce the official name of the ISS Node 3. *fingers crossed*

It's fuzzy-minded liberal thinking like that that gets you eaten.

My solution to not wanting to watch Colbert? I've turned the TV on in the next room, so I'm just "listening."

Tranquility? *blinks*

Load bearing what? awesome! It's a treadmill! XD XD
But yeah, what happened to Serenity?
Maybe we can hope that it got enough votes that they're tucking it away for the next manned spacecraft (after they name one Enterprise)?

My thinking is NASA went for Tranquility as to not show favoritism for one fandom over the other. There's probably a lot of browncoats and Colbert-fans working there. And, you're probably right about tucking the name "Serenity" away. If it's not a manned spacecraft, then hopefully we'll get something.
