I am so happy that I could cry. I can't wait for this movie to come out and so I raise my glass to the cast of firefly for doing such a wonderful job and hope that this feeling of anticipation will calm a little before next year. Is it bad that I already have my costume picked out for watching the movie next year? Yeay Yeay for the BDM !!!!!!!

There is a special place in hell for child molesters and the people at Fox who cancelled Firefly in the first place. And for what? "Little people" vs. Elephants pulling 747s. Thanks a lot a-holes! Whew. Got that outta my system. "Firefly" was the best show on TV, ever,Period. Even my wife likes it and she hates sci-fi. I just found out about "Serenity" today. Fan-frickin-tastic! and Joss, your new x-men book is sweet too! I was hoping for a Firefly comic from Darkhorse or something, but this is WAY better! Way to go people, make it happen! Excuse me, I need a tissue...

1st day of filmimg! ^-^ WOO!
And the first day of many Captain Tightpants pants splitting to come *laughs* I wonder how many pants they have for Nathan in stock.

I don't think having a costume ready is crazy. I thought of dressing up. But I don't know who I should go as besides Zoey(seeing as I'm black and I could possibly pull it off). I also thought of River, but I dunno...

WHoo hoo. joy of joys. Well I was on vacation in cali. end of April beginning of may. On one of the days we spent at Universal studios. While taking the tour, the first sound stage we passed was #12. The announcer lady said this is where they are filming SERENITY and I don't remember much else after that. It was a good day.
Well filmin's begun and it is a very good day.

You're on my crew. Why are we still talking about it?

gorramit, i'm late, like usual. well, instead of going cliche, i'll just and use the hours in between now and the premiere to make exact replicas of the cast out of the shrubs in my backyard.

Odd, and today I just happened to be watching "The Message" again, which I understand was the last episode actually filmed (if not the last in story sequence). Maybe some sort of psychic vibe.

Somebody up-thread asked if the crew and cast would have been on-set by 8AM or so. I expect that they probably were, and in makeup and costume long before that-- and, filming being the laborius process it is, it is possible (although I hope not, for their sakes) that cast and crew are still at it as of now, 10:06 PM Pacific time. Everybody send 'em positive warm fuzzy vibrations to sustain 'em.

I'm sorry to admit I had to be reminded that shooting started today-- but it was good to be reminded at the end of a day that, personally, will not be remembered fondly. A gorram shiny note to go to bed on.

Oh, bugger! Now I have to wait for someone to wake up!
