I Look Forward To Every Episode of Castle.
I'm a Huge Fan Of Terminator S.C.C. (thanks to summer glau). But, the only show i really enjoy is
"castle".(thanks to the one and only Nathan Fillion)!
Yes, i watch Dollhouse and i've watched "chuck".(thanks to Adam Baldwin).
So,how do you like castle so far and do you feel
like this show will be a keeper or not?

just wanted to find some fillions and flans :)
p.s. 10pm eastern is kind of late for me so i watch castle on abc.com in HD.It looks great !

I watch it, I like it, but I'm not sure there's enough there to get it picked up again. I really like Nathan's portrayal, and his chemistry with the female detective has really started to click. I thought he was clearly outshining everybody else in the first couple episodes, but now they're actually starting to gel into a cohesive unit. I find the character of his daughter to be not too annoying (unlike Medium, for instance), and his mom to be not too much of a caricature (note that I said not TOO much of one; she definitely is the most overdone and cartoonish character on the show, but it's a bit endearing, at least for now).

It's not my FAVORITE thing on the air right now (that would be Chuck, Supernatural, or Breaking Bad at the moment), but I make time to watch it every week, and will continue to do so as long as they keep it on - which I'm sure won't be much longer. Any show I like from the outset seems doomed to cancellation...

Just lying smiling in the dark,
Shooting stars around your heart,
Dreams come bouncing in your head
pure and simple every time.
Now you're crying in your sleep;
I wish you'd never learnt to weep.
Don't sell the dreams you should be keeping
pure and simple every time.

It's competitive, for the genre, but not great.

I really enjoy it. I think it's nice to see Nathan being funny and whimsical:0

It's fun, entertaining, and I hope it continues for a long, long time.

Everyone (several) that I've introduced it to not only said they liked it, they made it one of their regular shows.

I like it for Nathan, but really the genre is not my thing. Oh hey an unexpected twist! To me twists and turns are more interesting when you know the characters and they mean something. When it's a twist about a character who appears in one episode and is only a twist because we just didn't know anything about them...blah not interesting. I'd like them to flesh out some of the other detectives. Right now I don't know anyone's name other than Nathan's character. I can't for the life of me think of the woman detective's name. Same problem I had with Dollhouse until some of the more recent episodes.

I actually enjoy the two cops that are always doing the grunt work, and I wish I knew their names.

And I don't know the daughter's name either, but I like how she's written.

The Detective's name is Beckett. Do we know a first name?

I LOVE Castle! Nathan's character is hilarious, and the dialogue between him and Beckett is pure gold! I'm really enjoying the contrast in his character. He isn't simply the charming smart-ass. He has layers. He cares for his daughter and her well-being, and is a responsible person, despite his attempts to appear otherwise (evident in his concerns regarding letting his mother run loose in the apartment).

It also probably helps that this is just my kind of TV show. I love the whole CSI Law and Order scene, (I'm pretty morbid when it comes to my curret TV selections) and this just fits in so nicely with them all!

All in all, I love the show, and think that there is great potential for another series after this one is finished, there will just have to be some slight plot tweaking, plus, he can research her for as long as he likes.

I know the show is querky,if that is a word,(it is now)but it's supposed to be ! nathan is def. HILARIOUS ! I'm a big C.S.I. fan and i like how this story is somewhat diferent as it doesn't have to show all the details of how the guy died but right to the point..."Who Done It" !

Glad to Know i ain't the only one who finds fillion fascinating !

Course to be honest, i prob wouldn't watch the show if nathan wasn't on it :)

p.s. does anyone have a link to some of the quotes use by nathan on "castle"?
