Got home just before the wind with groces.

I broke down and got a package of premade sugar cookies with a picture of a hatching chick on them. We have a project for tomorrow!

Plus son got to snag a bag of chocolate raspberry milanos for being such a good helper. He's also a good sharer.

His choice, I would have stuck to a more traditional milano...

*walks in and sits down at counter* even my supervisor was in a bad mood today. and he's never in a bad mood (had to write me an LOC today). the chief (one of them) is still very mad about this whole thing (fortunately he's mad on my behalf), and i don't think that helped the supervisor's mood much. *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* i need something to improve my mood. barkeep, sumthin for *waves hand at previous paragraph* that.

Well, I just started season 5.. so, you know, she's not all evil or anything. Yet. So I guess it sounds kinda like a fluffy bunny with it's wee little head all stuffed full of fluffy little brains. Or something?

I baked sugar cookies out of a box with boychild today. He's done everything he's supposed to, including feeding Rodney, and nothing he's not supposed to, and had a good day at the dojo.. so he gets to pig out on the cookies and watch Frosty The Snowman on DVD and hit the Legos website and stuff. It's a laid back day. It's also sn**ing and blowing, so cookies= extra comforty goodness.

Ugh... all I want to do is watch Dr. Horrible for a fourth (or so) time, or maybe hit refresh on FFF.net and Whedonesque to check for new topics for the next 2 hours. But I have a stack of English papers to grade, and they're calling out to me... using poor grammar and diction to boot.
