Remembering Angel - Season 1 Favorites

So, I decided I was in need of definite Angel reminiscing, so I decided to have different threads for each season of Angel favorite moments or quotes, because I feel with 5 seasons it all gets lost in length, and I tend to be lengthy, though I will try to keep this to a minimum. That is why I figured top 3 would probably be best. So, with that said I didn't figure I should start all the threads tonight, I don't want to hog the board, but I figure it could be fun over the next few days. I hope you all agree. I guess I just need more time to say goodbye.

In no particular order:

1. When Angel jumps into the wrong car - 'City Of'
2. Angel and Faith fighting in the rain ending with her begging him to kill her - 'Five by Five'
3. Angel & Buffy final scene - IWRY - Buffy: "How am I supposed to go on with my life knowing what we had? What we could have had?"
Honorable Mention: Spike's Monologue - 'In The Dark' - Spike (Mimicking Angel) "I was once a badass vampire, but love and a pesky curse defanged me. Now I’m just a big, fluffy puppy with bad teeth."

i loved spike's monologue in 'in the dark', so hilarious.

and i'm not sure that its in season one, but i think so...when angel and wes argue about who has to wear the girly motorcycle helmet....hehehe.

and in 'i will remember you' the whole last convo of buffy and angel. i need a weepy emoticon.

OK, you already took one of mine, but it's so good that I'm going to go with it anyway:

1) The Angel/Faith fight scene in Five-by-Five is my favorite from all seasons of both shows.

2) Angel and Cordy watching Doyle's recording at the end of Hero (and again during You're Welcome, but that's for season five).

3) Darla showing up in the box at the very end of the season finale.

Too many honorable mentions to mention....

ooo, i forgot about the very end of 'hero'-"is that it? am i done?"....it was so beautifully haunting....i add it to my list. its even more tear-worthy than 'i will remember you'

I can't remember the name of episode, but the scenes with Angel and Wesley dancing horribly, great stuff Also, any episode with Doyle, I was really disappointed when he left the show.

ok, since the angel/faith fight scene has already been said a couple of times, i'll say my other fave scene from that ep: faith's dance/fight to rob zombie's "living dead girl." so cool!
two more:
~doyle's sacrifice (the scene where he actually does it)
~cordelia to doyle in "i fall to pieces":"you're a lot smarter than you look. of course, you look like a retard." i think that's right...so funny lol!
a lot of the ones i would have said have already been done, so i figured i'd add more to the list rather than repeat.

Its from Season 2 ep 'First Impressions' also a great moment, I love when the demon smiles at him when he takes it off, and then Angel beats him with it!

1) Wesley drops the knife at the end of Five By Five. The single best moment in the history of television as far as I'm concerned.
2) The "Am I done?" video. Of course.
3) The opening credits with Angel, Cordelia and Doyle. They did their best but they could never quite recapture the amazing chemistry that those three had together.
