VINDICATION!! The teachers were misinformed. My son did NOT drop trou and moon others! (WHEW...)

He *did* stick his wee bum way out and push somebody with it to get them to move, however, which is still a less than polite way to accomplish a goal.

Cute bum, but not in need of warming by application of manual maternal indignation.

This calls for a celebration!

I am now inventing a new drink in my head to commemorate. Somebody try this and let me know if it's any good.

Cheeky Monkey:

4oz shaved ice
1oz chocolate liqueur
1oz banana liqueur
1 ripe banana

Toss in blender and whirl until it's dizzy. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
Serve.

Here's another one for you then, which you can recreate at home!

Take
1 little cup of lemon Italian ice
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup fresh strawberries
2 cups yogurt (with active cultures)
1 cup orange juice

toss in blender or food processor and let 'er rip until it's frothy.

mmm creamy fluffy healthy goodness.

I'm approximating there. I usually just toss a varied amount of that sort of stuff as my heart dictates and make a huge batch.

If your machine's up to it you can use frozen bananas for a more milkshake like drink.

(Eyeballs automated bartender until it pours and serves a perfect pint of Young's Double Chocolate Stout)

Barkeep! A pint o' Guinness if you please...

I need it after yesterday.

Went on over to Fanfiction.net to post a chapter of Triad and one of their Google ads had a Trojan embedded. 'Puter got slammed hard. Firefox quit totally and IE only worked a little bit.

AVG anti-virus gave me a warning but didn't do a dang thing.

Tried to download a new Anti-virus program, paid my $49.95 on the CC and I couldn't download it... Applied for a refund, haven't seen it yet...

Got in the car, drove to wally world, bought defender pro for $30.00, installed and ran it. found all the little multiplying Trojans but couldn't remove them...

Back to square one. Did a few web searches and found a little program called Malwarebytes' Anti malware.

This program kicks Pi-gu!

In 40 minutes it cleared out the 70 infections I had on my system. ran it a second time and came up clean.

After all that, better make it two Guinness'

Brian

See my post above...

By the way, that was the second time I've been hit with malicious code embedded in an ad at Fanfiction.net. Got hit just as hard about seven months ago.

Blew right through my AVG and my firewall. I now have a new program that has an integrated firewall and anti-virus. So far so good. and it updates itself several time a day.

Gah, cleaning does not agree with me, itchy, hives, allergic and only half done. Thought I'd stick my head in and say hi.

Part avoidance, part friendly. Must get on, found Magda today on facebook thanks to the photo thread, I'd participate but you know, look crap in photos and my drum kit is only really interesting to me!

Must get on....

-pop-

Might actually get more time on the comp today- mom's taking a nap, so she won't know exactly *when* I got on the comp, so I have the possibility of lying to get an extra hour or two, which I'm pleased about ^_^

why dont u just get off before she wakes up?

or, if she's on a different floor or far enough away, coverin ur tracks is easy. have ur books ready, when u hear movement sign off/shut off and leap for the couch. (it's what I always did when i was grounded, never got caught)

I don't know when she'll wake up, though, is the problem. I suppose I could just get off after an hour or so... that even sounds like the best idea! Thankee for giving me the idea ^_^

And as for the second plan, no good. Mom's bedroom is practically right next to mine (yes, I know, it sucks >_<)

More to do, think I might get there although now horribly behind on maths, shan't think of it until tomorrow!

maybe catch you all in a bit

Today's headline from my life:

6:35am CAR MEETS DEER!
"The day just kept getting better and better" Says driver.

Anybody want some souvenir deer hair stuck in my hood when the insurance agents are done looking at it?

(The deer had a little trouble getting up at first, but then ran off within five seconds. Car is has big dent.)

deer are funny that way. same thing happened to my uncle's truck when he was driving his wife to the hospital to deliver their second child. deer kept going, left dent in hood. and some traces of hair.

car's still okay, right?

Glad you're OK, though, Rose.

A buddy of mine hit a deer on the interstate several years ago. Flipped his car, but he did recover (after a few months). The deer was less fortunate...

HUGS Rosie... I'm sorry are you ok? I'm sure that was very stressful

( could be worse though. I had a friend who bought his first new car and decided to show it off on a cross country trip. On the first leg of the trip his car was struck by lightening and the engine was fried so his insurance company did a brief investigation and sent him a check he bought a new car and started out again, on the second leg his car was struck by leaping deer and destroyed once again the insurance company investigates and cuts him a check for a new car he buys new car and...on the third leg of the trip a huge storm hits and sends a giant tree crashing into his car totaling it... insurance company with much grumbling begrudgingly writes him yet another check. Now none of us will ride with him as we believe he has offended mother nature and is a target of doom)
