I don't think Joss even knows. I guess he's a little busy. OR, could be there's an alternative plan for releasing A Shepherd's Tale in the works, which is what my fingers are crossed for.

Absolutely. :)

I've been vocally throwing around the idea for a while that Joss may have agreed to work with Fox again because they offered him a chance to continue using the Firefly series rights.

Viewing the story through Shepherd Book's eyes, working through hints of his past up to meeting the crew and then on to his death would be an amazing, powerful way to reintroduce Firefly to a large audience, I think.

i am with you 100% on that one. would be a very cool way to do it. i wonder if it might also have something to do with joss's recent interview with tvguide about all he's waiting for are people in suits to approach him about another BDM....

YES! Oh, and forget the shiny plastic rocket. And the pony, even though I really wanted that one.

Just the movie would be just fine. Know you're a busy man, Buddha. Showin' off enlightenment an' all.

Didn't know if it was intentional, bein' part of the signature, but I think the quote ("she shot you!") is very appropriate to this situation. Joss' got the goods, just lookin' to deal.

Much as I'd like to see this film, Occam's Razor dictates I favour another possibility: Joss is too busy making Dollhouse to actually write it.
