I'm fairly sure my dad was once telling me I had to read Fahrenheit 451 and Martian Chronicles, so I might see if he has copies. If not, more money shall be spent!

BigRichard, I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner but I apparently never got e-mail notification of your question so I didn't know it was here. I think ecgordon made some excellent suggestions and I would add: The Illustrated Man. This has some of my favorites of his short stories.

There are many others but I think we've got you a good start. Enjoy!

That's alright SaveWash, I left that message at night, woke up this morning and your reply was there, so, for me, it didn't take long at all!
(I live in Australia)

I might try to pick up one or two novels, and then get The Illustrated Man, as I've got quite into short stories lately after reading quite a few of Richard Matheson's.

I think Joss deserves it even though I never got into Buffy and Angel. I am liking Dollhouse more and more as I watch them, so I think he hasn't lost his magic yet like some bloggers claim.

So if I'm reading the news/award article right, in this particular case/category the Bradbury award is kinda like a "Lifetime Achievement" award for sci-fi? I'm seeing other past awards for more specific works, but this seems to be recognizing the collective body of Joss' sci-fi works, right? (Though of course he'll accomplish much more in his lifetime, we expect!)
