question: why, when i clicked on the link for this thread, did it take me to the 'post new thread' option? *inadvertently made a new thread when she was just trying to post XD*

Maybe I copied the link too soon?

How do I make one or the other duplicate threads go away?

Navy is over there with the firsties joy.

I guess with more responses we would be best just using this bar and letting the other sink into nothingness if there is no way to delete it.

But let it be known, I had firsties first!

Morning all,

so slightly confused by the quantum bars but think I have found the right energy state.

*grabs paracetamol for headache and pint of water*

Long morning and barely started yet, desperately trying to get self shifting and I have to deal with maths for assignment due this week and a leak in the kitchen (had to happen, flat is being photographed for going on market on Thurs) tonight and all I want to do is sleep.

So to better things, congrats to MsA & NVG on your pending delivery and lets hope it has all the right appendages in the right quantity.

I'm sure there were other things but brain not working and too much to go read through again with headache. Going to sleep in corner and hope no one at work notices.

I mentioned this to several people and got the rolly eye "Whatever" look. I was rarely sick, felt more energetic, and most people didn't know I was a smoker. Not that I'm complaining (with the exception of two colds in four years as opposed to four since New Years before last). I like the increased wind I can muster. Kinda miss the habit of the thing at times...

Thanks, Sweetie, but I don't much care where the little buggers grow, as long as they continue to live elsewhere. XD

Also, for a daily dose of useless insane information: Mad scientists have already been able to successfully transplant a uterus from a... um... fresh donor... to a woman who had to have hers removed due to cancer. It remained viable long enough for the woman to carry her fetus to term. At the time of birth, doctors removed the entire uterus to deliver the baby and prevent the uterus from becoming a health hazard to the woman. Frakkin' miraculous, that. So, really, it's just a stone's throw from growing the little critters in a donor uterus suspended in a tank filled with warm, nutrient saturated gel.

AP Wire Service
MARCH 3--Angered that her local McDonald's was out of Chicken McNuggets, a Florida woman called 911 three times to report the fast food "emergency." Latreasa Goodman, 27, last Saturday called police to complain that a cashier--citing a McDonald's all sales are final policy--would not give her a refund. When cops responded to the restaurant, Goodman told them, "This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn't have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don't want one." Goodman noted, "I called 911 because I couldn't get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets," according to the below Fort Pierce Police Department report. That logic, however, did not keep cops from citing Goodman for misusing the 911 system. Even after being issued a misdemeanor citation, Goodman contended, "this is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency." The McDonald's devotee is seen at right in a mug shot snapped after a previous encounter with police. Last month, a Florida man was arrested after he called 911 to complain about his displeasure with a Burger King combo meal.

One night of frenetic maths and then I have a whole 3 days off to go to band practice, go to the cinema on Friday and spend a merry Saturday cleaning the house in preparation for photographs, was meant to be happening tomorrow but bloody waste pipe developed a leak over the weekend and I'm in the middle of fixing it with the old man (mortaring up holes is not my strength).

HUGS Kelkhil...appreciate the though but you nearly made me throw up with the idea... ice cream and pickles

Ok first off we don't "have" snow. The snow has invaded and left an occupational force. I don't wanna hear about the light dusting you might have had before the sun came up in Nevada!!! Surrounding my driveway I have a good 4 feet!!!

Second.... wait for it MSA. The cravings will hit you! (oh and you forgot teh eggs with the pickles and ice cream!)

I have not seen the ground (except where my dryer vents out the side of the house) since late October / early November and the way the weather has been lately I am betting on late April before I see it again.

So a Co-worker of mine is apparently having computer trouble*

3 times yesterday his login was disabled because of multiple failed attempts (giggle). He had to call the Support Desk (yes I know, we work in computers but we are not allowed to mess with the Exchange Server)and wait on hold for at least 10 minutes each time (chuckle) before they could reset his password.

We have been doing some troubleshooting here ourselves and we have it narrowed down to a possible Vista issue or maybe a bad keyboard (snicker). Co-worker is not sure, but since he drinks coffee at his desk he might have spilled a little on the keyboard and now it is causing a problem. Maybe making a key stick or something? XD

I figured I would ask if anyone here has had a similar Vista problem just in case. We have IT (a good friend of mine)(snicker) coming up to swap out his keyboard today to see if this will fix the problem for him.

So long as his "issues" do not actually create MORE work for those trapped by his BFness while he's not able to get anything done, I see no real and lasting harm in it. Unless whoever's causing the problems gets busted and canned.

I'm only glad I don't cause this kind of problem unintentionally every time I log in at work.

Do you have any green salsa??

If so I can lead you through chicken tortilla soup

Otherwise...do this.. mexican lasagne
get a casserole dish and spray pam in the bottom. Now rip up 2-3 tortillas and spread them over the bottom, then cover with cut up cooked chicken, cut up onion, a bit of salsa, sprinkle some cheese and sprinkle about 1/4 cup chicken broth over i.cover this layer with more ripped up tortillas, then top that with chicken, onion, salsa, cheese, etc. Keep doing that until you've made 3-4 layers. Now mix 1 cup salsa with 1 cup sour cream or cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup milk and spread over top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes then remove top with more cheese and bake for 10 more minutes.
