In fact, they are! How'd you guess? Crazy random happenstance, or do you know a thing or three about riding boots?

Mighty fine-looking holiday pic, too.

It would be so much more fun to say crazy, random happenstance...but the truth is I own a horse, soon to be two (gulp), and ride english, so I'm perusing catalogs all the time with Mountain Horse products. :D

Yes, it's an Ovation. I am a bit of a guitar junkie and that is my Acoustic/Electric Ovation. I have an old hand made 12 string that doesn't go outside EVER and a straight Acoustic Ovation for camping and what not. I would like another (another hobby of mine is Civil War Reenacting and I would dearly love a period correct guitar for performing there) but my wife of 30 years has suggested we get the kids through college first ;-)

You know, it was funny. The young lady is the daughter of my cousin and is the oh so cool teenager you describe. When she went home, she told her dad (my cousin) that she had a great time and why didn't they come earlier (it was a three day family reunion and they showed up for just the last day). You never would have guessed from the way she carried on.

The young man is my son and he was actually doing back up harmony ;-) He is the only true base in his high school choir and loves to sing. (Note the paternal pride ;-)

Well, Karel, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much, and wish to have a child, they hug in a special way ...

God bless Ladybird books, that phrase always makes me giggle!!
